Choosing a Baby Formula

Choosing a baby formula can be a difficult decision. But finding the best formula for your little one doesn't have to be complicated.

All infant formulas sold in the United States meet the same U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements. In fact, the FDA regulates the amount of every nutrient in all infant formulas. That's why you can be certain all infant formulas, regardless of branding and marketing hype, provide a complete, sole source of nutrition for your baby.

So when you choose a Member's Mark® Infant Formula, you can feel confident that your baby is getting quality nutrition. Exclusive to Sam's Club®, the Member's Mark formula brand offers members four different types of infant formulas:

The Majority of Pediatricians Say Baby Formula Brands Don't Matter

According to a nationwide survey of pediatricians,* 97 percent of pediatricians report infant feeding is one of the top three categories new parents ask about. Approximately 71 percent of these pediatricians believe all infant formulas are the same as regulated by FDA. This includes Member's Mark Infant Formula, which can save members up to $500 a year versus higher priced baby formula brands.**

Even though 66 percent of the pediatricians surveyed admitted "What formula do you recommend?" ranks highest among feeding questions, and 59 percent of pediatricians distribute free formula samples in their offices, the majority say they're not recommending that brand specifically and are simply giving samples to moms because they have them to give away.
